In this short video, we show you how to make the rolls parallel on a Durston Rolling Mill. First of all, make sure the rolls aren’t closed. Remove the circlip which is located on the bottom of the hand-wheel or T bar shaft. Lift up the hand-wheel with the gear and shaft intact. Next, you need to move one of the gears, 1 teeth, then replace the hand-wheel assembly. Now try rolling some material to test it. Repeat this step (if necessary) until material comes out straight.
