When you purchase a Rolling Mill, instructions on how to use the machine will be provided in the box which outlines the safety features and guidelines which must be followed to work safely on your workbench. Instructions come with all Durston’s products to ensure all goods are used appropriately and safely.

In this short video, we show you how to make the rolls parallel on a Durston Rolling Mill. First of all, make sure the rolls aren’t closed. Remove the circlip which is located on the bottom of the hand-wheel or T bar shaft. Lift up the hand-wheel with the gear and shaft intact. Next, you need to move one of the gears, 1 teeth, then replace the hand-wheel assembly. Now try rolling some material to test it. Repeat this step (if necessary) until material comes out straight. Finally, don’t forget to ensure the circlip is replaced.
Returns & Exchanges
At Durston Tools, we understand that sometimes you need to return or exchange an item for one reason or another. We would recommend that you carefully check your products as soon as they arrive prior to using them, in case they need to be returned.

You have up to 28 days to request a return. Returned goods will be credited to your account if returned in their original condition within 28 days. Special orders and custom products cannot be returned.
If the item is faulty, Durston Tools will arrange collection of the item.
If returning for any reason other than a fault, return postage will be at your cost.
For items that have been received faulty or have developed a fault, in the first instance, please can you contact our customer service team on either +44 (0)1494 535388 or email email@example.com. We will then be able to assist you with the right solution.
For faulty items, Durston Tools will arrange collection of the item. If the item returned is not faulty the cost of the postage will be deducted from the credit.
If items have been sent incorrectly, please contact our customer service team on either +44 (0)1494 535388 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then get in touch to sort everything out and endeavour for the correct item to be dispatched the same day you notify us.
We take a pragmatic view to this. Refunds will be credited to the card or the monthly account used for the original order. If the item is heavy and a spare part can be easily fitted, we will send you the spare. Or we’ll credit your account with an exchange once we’ve received back your order enabling you to purchase something else with your account balance.
Goods accepted for return will be credited at the price on the date of invoice. We will only refund return postage for goods not required if returned in less than 28 days. If you request a refund, this will normally be processed within one working week.
We have highly discounted rates with third-party logistics and freight ranging from DHL and DPD to UK and European pallet haulage, to full international containers. No matter the size of your order we will be able to help find the most cost-effective and timely shipping method for each of your orders.

Yes, we can ship all over the globe! However, please note that any customs or import duties are charged once the order reaches its destination country and must be paid by the recipient of the order. Yes, you can arrange your own shipping. Alternatively, you can collect your order from our factory. Please contact us and we will explain how we can process your order to arrange your own collection.
We aim to dispatch your order as quickly as possible, the dispatch time is up to 10 working days of your order being received. The delivery time will vary depending on the delivery method and courier that you have selected.
Please note that if an item is listed as “on backorder” the dispatch time may be longer than this, please contact our Customer Service Team at email@example.com for an estimated dispatch date.
If an order has an item that is out of stock, the whole order will be placed on backorder until all products are available to ship.
