Durston’s Twin Speed Draw Bench is available in two models. This version can draw 950mm and can be used as a direct drive or as a geared reduction model by merely moving the turning handle from one side of the bench to the other. This drive option gives total flexibility and additional power when needed. The bench is manufactured to the highest standards and is designed to last a lifetime. Draw up to to a diameter of 10mm. The bench is 1370mm long x 560mm wide x 970mm high and weighs 45kg. Draw tongs are now supplied separately.

We aim to ship all orders within a few days of ordering, depending on where you are in the world it may take only a couple of days or up to a week to arrive. We use DPD for UK deliveries and DHL for worldwide shipments. Larger orders such as Benches or heavy Rolling Mills will be sent on a pallet.

Verified ownerA few niggles,
First the Drawplate supports are slightly crooked by a couple of degrees so the wire curves as it draws. I will have to angle grind one to square it up and the welds around the end of the supports clash with the bottom of the drawplate so it does not sit flat on the supports unless lifted up.
The the chain runs straight on the painted channel and the draw tongs will destroy the paint finish on the top of the bench so a nylon strip that lifts the chain will prevent this.
The 4/1 shaft that the chain runs directly around could do with a pulley on it so it does not clank and metal on metal will wear either the shaft of the chain out.
Overall a nice piece of kit but could be better
